Nowadays, business units demand transparency from IT in what they deliver and the associated costs. To satisfy this demand, an IT department needs a good service catalogue which is customer focused. The catalogue should not be filled with technical descriptions, but with clear service descriptions which are understandable for the customers, i.e. written in the “customers language”.
