Governance
The need for better control over IT budgets and IT investments, aligning business and IT, and increased compliancy, requires organisations to design and implement some form of IT governance. METRI has developed an IT Governance Framework to support its clients in realising and optimising effective IT governance. Our offerings are structured alongside this framework.
METRI recognises two sets of important perspectives when dealing with IT governance. These perspectives help in getting a clear picture of what is required and how IT governance should provide an answer. They also avoid that governance becomes suboptimal and incoherent.
The perspective sets are governance as a means to:
- “doing the right things” (between business and IT), and
- “doing things right” (within the IT organisation, departments, third parties, etc.)
Based on our benchmarking experience, we also help clients by providing advice regarding hands-on, best practice approaches, especially in IT Service Provisioning and IT Cost Management – these areas are closely related to benchmarking.
