Benchmarking Methodology

METRI uses a service oriented benchmark model, in which each specific component is measured and valued. This methodology ensures realistic, accurate and comprehensive benchmark results. We call this Component-Based-Measurement®.

Through this approach, the client’s service structure is not lost in the comparison. By benchmarking on component level, similar peer components are aligned to the client’s service structure. It is no longer required to shape the client to a default structure. Results are transparent and easy to interpret.

METRI uses interviews and workshops as a primary means for collecting the required information. This considerably reduces the client effort and increases the validity of collected information. METRI has developed standard tools that support data collection and processing performed by our consultants.

The Component-Based-Measurement® methodology enables a balanced view on performance. In addition to cost and productivity, METRI takes into account cost-driver dimensions at component level, such as volumes, complexity, quality (e.g. service levels) and service delivery.

The METRI data engine enables the consultants to provide our clients with fact-based results and hands-on recommendations, taking into account best practices.
