Market Price Assessment
“Obtaining the best performance & price ratio from the external IT provider”
A Market Price Assessment (MPA) offers clients an independent and structured method to benchmark the services delivered by external services providers (ESPs). The assessment provides a comparison of prices with those currently in the market.
Five dimensions are used to compare performance against a peer group:
- Price
- Volumes
- Complexity
- Quality (Service Levels)
- Service Delivery (Operational activities)
Recommendations are given to achieve a better pricing structure, better market price and better performance. The peer group consists of ESPs.
A “typical” organisation does not exist
METRI performs benchmarks and has a set of products to cover the needs of our clients. We review the requirements of our customers and match them to solutions within the METRI product portfolio.
Since a typical organisation does not exist and requirements are not always alike, a combination of services is often the answer. METRI can tailor, combine and fine-tune our products to suit.
We are able to fully satisfy our clients’ needs within their specific environment because the METRI database is compiled using our own Component Based Measurement® principle.
Benefits of the service:
- Statement on market conformity for the dimensions price, volumes, complexity, quality and service delivery
- Strengths & weaknesses of the performance of the present services
- Concrete and structured recommendations
- Insight into pricing structures
- Optional Insight into market trends
Facts of the service:
- More than 80% of the service descriptions are not (fully) clear, transparent or in line with the pricing structure
- Nearly every client has problems controlling the costs of external services and exert only minor influence on the cost drivers
